How to woo a girl "The Hunger Games" way
With "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" just around the corner, we're sure many of you guys are already dreading having to watch this movie with your girlfriend, wife or the lady you're courting.
Instead of resenting how the ladies will swoon over Peeta Mellark or Gale Hawthorne, why not rewatch the first "The Hunger Games" movie to prepare yourself and refresh your memory? You could even learn some lessons from the first movie and use these to woo your dream girl.
Be her hunting partner
Gale didn't have a lot of scenes in the first movie, but boy, he sure made an impact in the first part by helping Katniss hunt. He and Katniss once even shot a deer together and used the money they got for selling the meat to buy a nanny goat for Katniss' younger sister, Prim. Now this dude really knows how to win a girl's heart!
Give her bread
Be generous. But maybe you shouldn't throw the bread at her like Peeta did. (Peeta? Bread? Get it?) Still, it was a very touching gesture by Peeta, which a grateful Katniss will always remember. Yes, the boy with the bread can teach you how to get the girl on fire.
Set her dress on fire
Well, no, not literally on fire. But Cinna is one dude who knows how to make a girl feel beautiful, particularly by giving her that "girl on fire" outfit. We're sure you'll melt her heart.
Worry about her... even when you're dying
Peeta sure wins a lot of points for thinking about Katniss' welfare first even when he's seriously wounded. He's willing to sacrifice everything just to make sure that Katniss will be all right. In fact, he'd rather die so she could win and go home to her sister. Now that's hard to top when it comes to impressing the woman of your dreams!
