6 Hacks for Taking Care of Your Body

A body that's in good shape is the result of proper care. You have to eat nutritious food, get enough sleep, and exercise. Not only that, you also have to groom yourself. Below are six simple hacks that will help you achieve (and maintain) your body's good condition!

1. Use hand cream to de-frizz your hair.

If your office's air conditioner always makes your hair dry and frizzy, having a hand cream in your bag will come in useful. Rub a small amount of hand cream between your palms and spread the product on your hair. The hand cream will help tame frizz and make your strands smooth.

2. Apply deodorant every day to eliminate body odor.

A deodorant minimizes stench as it contains ingredients that kill odor-causing bacteria. It would also help if you take a bath every day using an antibacterial soap to wash off dirt and other impurities.  

3. Sit up straight at your desk.

Working in a slouching position can decrease your energy, resulting into a crabby mood. Not only that, frequent slouching can lead to muscle pains and back aches. And if that's not enough to convince you to change your ways, may we remind you that good posture is also linked to an increase in self-confidence? Every man wants to effortlessly exude just that-we're sure you do, too-so get started by sitting up straight.

4. Use tissue when popping pimples.

While it's not advisable to pop zits, there are times when it's necessary to do so, like when you're going to attend a special occasion or when it's on the verge of popping on its own. You don't want to show up at your best bud's wedding with a huge red bump on your nose, do you? Gently squeeze your zit with tissue covering your clean fingertips. Doing so will prevent bacteria from entering the spot and worsening its condition.

5. Put on antiperspirant before going to bed at night.

If you have problems with excessive sweating, it's best to apply antiperspirant at night. Since underarm skin is dry and your sweat glands are less active, the product's ingredients are more effective. The theory is that it clogs the sweat ducts even before actual sweat starts to form.

6. Use a fortifying shampoo every day to have healthy hair.

Like women, having great hair is also important for men. The hair is one of the first things that people notice when they look at someone, so it's a must that your crowning glory is at its best. Remember, it's a turn on for ladies when guys have healthy and fresh-smelling tresses! Wash your mane with a shampoo that has caffeine and trichazole actives that will help strengthen your strands.
